TIP OF THE WEEK Compliments of Mark Goulston [SM1]: When speaking with a client or prospect ask them: "What is something we should talk about so that we don't miss anything important that afterwards you'll think we should have spoken about?" Let them answer then follow with: "Why is 'that' so important?" and "How important is it?" Phrasing it this way is an open ended question and is preferable to the closed ended question: "Is there anything important you want to talk to me about?"
